Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actress shortly after immigrating to the United States. From 2013 to 2016 she worked as the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. Her fame was boosted for her roles in television commercials. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub was initially cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school after her sophomore years. She was able to get the GED and later was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
