Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of The US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the team floor as well as the individual competitions. The bronze was won by using the balance bar. It made her the Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. At the 2016, Olympics she took home gold in the team event that earned her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having been one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive team golds. In addition, she won two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. In between the two Olympics she took an absence from gymnastics competition for three years. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American team at two World Championships. She began her gymnastics training at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She plans to pursue an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks in future. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
